Study of a woman for the “Fight for Independence” statue in Warsaw (also known as Polonia – study) 1923
It is a rectangular object with side planes cut into cubic forms.
The study was created for the needs of the Monument to the Struggle for Independence of Poland. A woman with a sword standing firmly on a pedestal is the personification of Polonia.
The object is a full plaster cast in a natural color with many author's corrections made with a pencil.
It is 143 cm high, 31 cm wide and 25 cm deep.
