Project of a two-piece composition. Lower part is a platform, the upper one a realistic figure of a man, with his right arm bent in the elbow, the hand holding a book. Left arm is resting along the body, holding a top hat.

It is a full plaster cast, coated with a dark brown (base), light green and grayish patina. From the back, two steel wires are supporting the statue.
